In our home water bottles are now banned we each have our own re-useable bottle and bring it everywhere. Also in the Spring we have a rain barrel set up in the backyard to capture any run off that we use to water our lawn and mini garden in the front yard. This is a favourite of my family as my son has a ball dipping his hand into it with his own water can to water the yard. When we have picnics in the park, we NEVER throw away anything that's non-perishable but bring it back home as we use only re-useable cutlery, plates and glassware to make sure we do not add any unnecessary garbage in the park.
