I caught my first fish at the age of four and I have been hooked ever since. I have been hunting and fishing across Canada, The United States and Mexico since I was a child, my life revolves around the outdoors. When it came time for me to attend university, I laughed and thought there are no hunting or fishing courses. But there was journalism and media. I pursued a journalism degree and now I spend my time running Kawartha Lakes Outdoors, my fishing and hunting store in Bobcaygeon; when I am not out on the water or up in a tree stand I am writing about it.
